How it works

My coaching style combines my knowledge of neuroscience with my coach training to spur clients toward change. I meet with clients over the phone, Skype, or in person in weekly 45 minutes sessions (distance is not an issue for international clients).  I provide an unflagging area of support in your life to guide you toward what you want. In short, I provide the clarity to act.

Coaching works; but it requires effort on the part of the client. A typical contract begins at three months.  This period corresponds to the time it takes to incorporate lasting changes and is the time it takes to form new neural connections in the brain. The three month contract is a commitment to yourself; a commitment to change.

Coaching works because coaching provides:

  • purpose: clients clearly identify their values and what they want;
  • excellence: clients use their strengths to facilitate change; and
  • autonomy: clients empower themselves to make choices that overcome personal limitations.

Coaching ignites action through individually-tailored systems that:

  • simplify choices by implementing goal-setting system;
  • reinforce commitment to choices by using reward systems and building support structures; and
  • increase motivation by establishing reasonable expectations.

Clients succeed because they have to — they map out success so there is no alternative.
